The App is a creative tool that lets you simulate messenger-style conversations between two people (Sender and Receiver) to create collaborative stories or memes. All core functionality operates entirely offline on your device.

• Chat/Story Names: You provide a name for each conversation/story you create. This is stored locally on your device.
• Message Content: Any text messages you write within your stories are stored locally on your device.
• Avatar Images: If you choose to set a chat partner avatar, you may select an image from your device. This image is copied into the app's private storage.
• Media Images: You may attach images from your device gallery to include within your stories. These images are copied into the app's private storage for local display.
• Selected Messenger Style/Theme: Your choice of chat appearance theme for each story is saved locally.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: We do not collect any analytics, usage statistics, or behavioral data about how you use the App. The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs or tracking libraries.
• Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or any device-level information.
• Location Data: The App does not access, collect, or use your location information in any way.
• Contact or SMS Data: The App does not access your contacts, messages, SMS, or anything related to your device's communication functions. The term "message" refers only to simulated text you create within the App for your stories.

Information Collected Through Google Play Billing

• Subscription Information: When you purchase a subscription to unlock premium themes, Google Play Billing processes your payment and purchase information. We may receive purchase tokens or subscription status information from Google Play to verify and restore your purchases.
• Data Processed by Google: All billing information is processed by Google. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy for information about how Google collects and uses your data in connection with in-app purchases.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or any contact details.
• We do not access your device's camera, microphone, or location services.
• We do not display advertisements or integrate with any advertising networks.
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
• We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except as described regarding Google Play Billing.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

• Create, display, and manage your simulated conversations and stories.
• Store your content persistently on your device using a local Room database and app-private file storage.
• Enable image selection from your device gallery for use within your stories.
• Provide and restore premium theme subscriptions via Google Play Billing.
• Display your selected chat themes and styles.

No data is transmitted off your device except for purchase-related transactions processed by Google Play Billing.

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All story data (chat names, messages, themes, image paths) is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database (Room). No story data leaves your device.
• App-Private Image Storage: Images you select are copied into the app's private internal storage directory (filesDir/chat_images/). These files are not accessible to other apps on your device and are deleted when you delete the associated story or message.
• Subscription Data: Subscription status is stored locally using Android DataStore (preferences). This is only used to track whether you have an active subscription to enable premium features.
• Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including using secure local storage mechanisms provided by the Android platform.

Data Retention and Deletion

• You may delete individual chats/stories at any time, which will permanently and immediately delete all messages and associated images stored for that story.
• You may delete individual messages within a story, which will permanently delete any associated images.
• Clearing the app's storage through your device's system settings will remove all locally stored data.
• Upon uninstalling the App, all locally stored data will be removed from your device. However, any images copied to the app's private storage are also removed upon uninstall.

Google Play Services and Third-Party Links

• Google Play Billing: The App uses the Google Play Billing Library for handling in-app subscriptions. Google's Privacy Policy applies to data processed through this service.
• We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party services. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any service you interact with.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete such information.

International Transfers

Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is no transfer of your data to any third party or across international borders by us. Your data remains on your device at all times.

• Delete your locally stored subscription status and preferences by clearing the app's data in your device settings.
• Uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored data.
